What are Ghanaians searching for on Google Web Search?
The following search terms have been based on the last 30 days, however, upon review, the top searches are quite consistent for each category for the past 12 months.
- Arts & Entertainment: Top searches include: Kizz Daniel, Yul Edochie, Shatta Wale, Tekno, Doctor Strange, Johnny Depp, DJ Breezy, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Goojara.com (streaming site) and 365 Days film.
- Autos & Vehicles:Â Apk, Toyota, Benz, Nissan, Kia, M Sport, BMW, Toyota Corolla, Range Rover, GPS, and Elantra are all top searches.
- Beauty & Fitness: LV Perfume, Massage Therapy, Kids Hair Style for Girls, Henna Designs, Afro Kinky Hairstyles Pictures, Mino Wedding Secret for Stretch Marks, Barakat Perfume, Beauty New New, Pixie Cut Wig, Yoga Exercises, Mycolex Cream, and Castor Oil were all trending. In terms of the top searches, hairstyles is first. Other top searches include: Braids, Fashion, Makeup, StrongMan, Cornrow Styles, Braids Hairstyles, Yoga, IPL, Gym, Dior, Stretch Marks, Knotless Braids and Natural Hairstyles.
- Books & Literature: Much ado about nothing (comedy by Shakespeare), Poems for Kids, The Lion and the Jewel (Wole Soyinka), Wattpad, Macbeth and Plaigarism are all rising. Quotes, Life Quotes, Motivational Quotes, APA Referencing Style, To Die for Love, Literary Devices and All You Can Read are top searches.
- Business & Industrial: Buffalo supermarket shooting, best practices in aquaculture, Def Jam Records, COTP Trading, Elon Musk Twitter, myjoyonline (news blog) are all rising. Epayslip, Tiktok, Marketing, GP, Phone Number Generator and Discard Generator.
- Computers & Electronics: 590 mobile.com.gh (Lotto), Apple Coverage Check, infinix note 12 VIP, Xbox Series X, Red Panda VPN, Apple ID Login, Hoxx VPN, IUnlocker, Tuxler VPN app are all trending. Other top searches include: Waptrick (a website to download Games, Videos and more), Google, Word, Whatsapp, VPN, Laptop, Chrome, Computer, Apple, NSS Dashboard, Microsoft, BTC, DSTV, Camera and iCloud.
- Finance: 1.5 million naira to Ghana cedis, 40,000 Dollars to Ghana Cedis, iBanking Stanbic Ghana, Boseafie Loans.
