What do you do to earn a living and when did you start?

Growth manager. I am the cofounder of HelpAI which is using AI to help founders find cofounders and help professionals connect likewise.

What did you use to do before you did this?

I’ve been helping companies grow from 0 – 1 using various growth marketing techniques.

What inspired you to start your business?

After an extensive 5-month search for a co-founder myself, despite having an extensive network of talented technical friends working with top brands, I realized the challenges many entrepreneurs face in finding the right co-founder. That’s why I founded HelpAI, alongside my incredible partner Iluyemi, who brings a wealth of technical expertise as our able technical co-founder, leading the development of HelpAI alongside our dedicated tech team. At HelpAI, we firmly believe that building a remarkable product from day one can only be achieved by co-creating it with our customers. That’s why we would like to invite you to a one-on-one call, where we can better understand your aspirations, challenges, and specific requirements. Our platform utilizes cutting-edge artificial intelligence algorithms to match co-founders based on complementary skills, shared values, and compatible working styles. By embracing innovation and leveraging our advanced technology, we ensure that you are connected with the ideal co-founder who can propel your entrepreneurial journey forward. billboard ikoyi advertising

Would you advise other people to start businesses or invest in Africa? Please also share the drawbacks.

Yes, no one is too old or young to start a business. Start that business but only quit your current job what the business is paying your current salary range.

What’s the biggest piece of advice you can give to other Africans looking to start up?

The fundraising you see on media outlets takes time. It takes 2 months – 6 months and above to raise funding. So, do not be swayed away by it. Also, find mentors who are successful in the space you want to start in. Join communities of founders within your startup stage.

What’s the biggest piece of advice you can give to other Africans in the diaspora?

Build for Africans and build for the global market
